Hi, you are welcome te ask questions in English if you wish.
Quiz items can be added to a Opale module in two ways :
As a direct child of a module, a division or a leaning activity : in this situation, quiz items are considered to be for training purposes only, they are formative, not evaluative.
As a child of a self-assessment activity : in this situation, quiz items are evaluative
Thank you for your quick answer.
When a user finishes a self-assessment quiz module, validates and exits it, and then re-enters the test, there is an option labeled « Erase and restart the test. »
Thank you for your answer. I might have misunderstood your suggestion.
The issue isn’t about restarting the quiz after the module is completed; it’s about restarting the quiz while the module is still active.
For example, after a user finishes the quiz and clicks the validate button, they can still navigate back to the quiz (see image above) and restart it. I’m looking for a way to disable or hide this option.
I would like to create a quiz that users can only attempt once. If they wish to try again, I could reset the entire module in the LMS.
At this time this is not supported by a Opale Module. It is however supported by the build-in dedicated Exerciser Extension for Opale.
Activate the extension :
Then design a Exerciser. The Web Settings allow you to forbid repeating the assessment :
Thanks for your response. This approach seems perfect for my needs.
I noticed in the Exerciser documentation that it can link content elements as additional information in the instructions or explanations of each exercise (see attached image).
That’s exactly what I’d like to do, but I can’t figure out how to insert “Content element” blocks into the Exerciser.
The Introduction section only supports text/resources…, and everything else seems to allow only divisions, quizzes, or quiz lists. Is there a way to include content elements in the Exerciser?
